[Title of award-winning research]Stealth Spoofing of the CSSR Open Standard: A First Demonstration with QZSS CLAS
[Details of award-winning research]"High-precision location information services" are rapidly being used as essential infrastructure supporting society, in areas such as autonomous driving, drones, and financial systems. On the other hand, the risk of cyberattacks called "spoofing," which intentionally distort location information, can no longer be ignored. In this research, we focused on "stealth attacks" that bypass conventional detection systems and gradually shift location by accumulating small errors.High-precision services provided by Japan's Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (Michibiki)CLASSWe conducted tests on this subject and revealed the possibility that users could be given incorrect location information without realizing ヤフースポーツmlb, by making ヤフースポーツmlb appear as natural signal fluctuations. This finding identifies vulnerabilities inherent in the location-based services we rely on, providing important guidelines for developing technologies that will enable safer operation of future autonomous vehicles and drones.
